Clickers

Clickers allow instructors to ask questions and gather students' responses during a lecture. Clicker systems are also commonly called Classroom Response Systems, or Audience Response Systems.

In clicker systems, each student uses a device, a "clicker", that looks like a TV remote to answer questions posed by the instructor. Summaries of student responses can be shown in real time to both instructors and students. Answers are stored electronically for later viewing.

Why iClicker?

In order to help unify the CSU campus, the Classroom Review Board voted on May 18, 2007, to adopt the iClicker system as the CSU campus standard.

Colorado State University maintains a local registration system for your clicker. Students should register their iClicker on the Clicker Registration page of this website. The Student FAQ will answer any questions students may have concerning operation and care of your iClicker.
